Fire Test Lab Accreditation: Guardian Fire Testing Laboratories Inc. is accredited as a fire testing laboratory through the following accreditation agencies: American National Standards Institute (ANSI)-American Society for Quality (ASQ) American National Accreditation Board (ANAB) and Assured Calibration and Laboratory Accreditation Select Services (ACLASS). The international standard used by these agencies to judge Guardian's qualifications for accrediation is ISO/IEC 17025-2005.

IAS operates under the International Code Council's evaluation service (ICC-ES). N.B.: IAS along with ANSI-ASQ/ANAB & ACLASS have signed a Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA) with other accreditation agencies under the auspices of the International Laboratory Accreditation Board (ILAC). This Arrangement insures that Accreditation Agencies will recognize test results from member signatories. This means, for example, that IAS can recognize test results from Guardian because they are accredited by ACLASS, a signatory member of ILAC.
