Guardian is a Type A (Third-Party) Inspection Agency conducting In-Service Inspections. 

The type and range of the inspections cover the following for in-service or new products:  Fire Resistant Products, Components and Assemblies;  Building Materials with Surface Burning Characteristics; Record Protection Equipment; Solid Fuel Burning Heating Appliances and Gas-Burning Equipment.
