Guardian's Product Listing Program: Statement of Conditions
| Only products bearing the Guardian mark/label can be considered “Listed” and as covered by Guardian's follow-up Inspection Service. Always check for the mark/label on the product as substantiation of the Guardian Listing.
Please note that Directory listings carry an "Issue Date". If, for any reason, a product's listing is cancelled, the Listing will be withdrawn. The withdrawal and its effective date will be shown on the “Listing Withdrawn Notices” section of the Directory, and the product no longer will be approved by Guardian.
Categories of products that Guardian lists include: building materials with surface burning characteristics; fire resistant building products, components and assemblies; record protection equipment; solid fuel and gas-burning equipment for safety and efficiency; chimney liners and repair systems for safety. Information listed in the Directory is subject to the Listing and Labeling Agreement between Guardian and its Client. Guardian's responsibility and liability are limited to the terms and conditions of the Agreement. The listings contained on this web site are for informational purposes only and may not be relied upon by any person or business entity; Guardian makes no warranties, either expressed or implied, of any nature, regarding the listings. Use of Guardian's name or its Mark for the sale or advertisement of the tested material or product must first be approved in writing by Guardian. Initial Factory Inspections and follow-up inspections are for the purpose of assuring appropriate use of the Mark in accordance with the Listing and Labeling Agreement between Guardian and its Client.
