As per the International Building Code (I.B.C.), Section 715, "Opening Protectives" (Fire Doors), Section 715.3.5.2 for Oversized Doors and '"One of Kind" Fire Door Manufacturing of an oversized door or a specialty door, the supplier will submit the fire door shop drawings to Guardian for approval. Guardian's Fire Testing Engineers will review, comment, approve if appropriate and stamp the shop drawings. Guardian then will supply Guardian's appropriately rated fire door labels for attachment to the door.
Fire door frames for specialty fire door frames will be reviewed and approved as per UL 63, Construction of Steel Fire door frames.Guardian then will supply Guardian's appropriately rated Fire Door Frame labels for attachment to the steel door frame.
